TEDxUoA 2022: You, Me, Us

Regardless of race, gender, colour, nationality, religion, language and social standing, we are all human underneath the skin.
We forsake this simple but crucial idea too often. We draw boundaries amongst ourselves out of fear of the unknown. But in the tremendous treasure trove of diverse cultures and experiences, there is much to explore, learn and practise.
What if we instead endeavour to find commonality in our different stories and ideologies?
What if we embrace unique perspectives and modes of thinking?
What if we unite to solve the problems that affect each and every one of us and open our hearts to hardships that are not our own?
When we turn these what-ifs into action plans, we can solve humanity’s biggest problems; problems that cannot be solved by one person, one organisation, or one country alone. That’s what we seek to explore in TEDxUoA 2022: You, Me, Us. There, we will unravel how some of the many inspiring individuals from our communities are joining heads and hands to pave the way for a better tomorrow.
